TODAY's Menu ~ March 15-16
- Today's Announcements
- Work on your blog posts until 8:45 - then put up the minis. DO NOT COPY/PASTE...do not waste my time. If your book reviews even sound like someone else wrote them, I will NOT grade them. Thanks!
- Finish the movie. Turn on the LCD for Mrs. Staggs; the movie is in my computer. May turn the movie on by going to "My Computer" and right clicking on "D" drive. Select play. They should have no more than 30 minutes left of the movie to watch today. Need to finish the movie today, for we will NOT have time to watch it during the next class time!
- NEWS about our class-size research paper; the class will write one research paper on the Rip Roarin' 1920's...you will be assigned one Roman numeral on this research paper. Begin to brainstorm and research what aspect of the 1920's you would be most interested in learning more: cars, fashion, music, technology, economy, governmental isssues...remember you may only choose one subtopic to research (I will have a list of topics in class next time). Each of you will need four sources.
- READ: you will be required to read four out-of-class reads this nine weeks! Please have a novel chosen by next class time!
